Pet dental treatments
Cats & dogs
Southill Vets recommend a combination of regular home cleaning (daily for dogs if you can), 6 to 12-month dental check-ups, and the occasional veterinary dental treatment to keep disease and decay at bay.
A good scale and polish under general anaesthetic can vastly improve your cat or dog’s dental health. Some dental problems cannot be fully diagnosed until your pet is undergoing dental treatment, when our experienced Vets can thoroughly examine their mouth.
Rabbits & other small furry pets
Many species of small furry pets have constantly growing teeth, which can become overgrown or misshapen. Our Veterinary Surgeons have the equipment to file down and remove spurs, as well as trim or remove teeth under general anaesthetic.
