Welcome to Southill Vets; we are an independent veterinary practice run by compassionate people who put the needs of our patients first.
Southill Vets has four surgeries in the Southwest area, serving Wincanton, Gillingham, Milborne Port, Mere, and the surrounding villages on the Somerset, Dorset & Wiltshire border.

- Our Wincanton veterinary surgery is also open on Saturday mornings
- Consultations are by appointment only – we don’t offer an open surgery

Which surgery should I attend?
Our main practice in Wincanton is fully equipped for small animal routine treatments and surgeries, and has hospitalisation facilities. At Wincanton we also operate a 24/7 emergency out of hours service for Southill clients, and have a visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Our Gillingham surgery is a similar size to Wincanton and offers the same routine small animal treatments and procedures. We offer Vet consultations at our Milborne Port and Mere surgeries.
