Animal Nursing Assistant with light hair tied back wearing a burgundy top

Sam Steel

“Before joining Southill Vets I worked in a small animal practice in the centre of Cheltenham as a VNA (Veterinary nursing assistant) for two years, and lived in a beautiful cottage in the Forest of Dean. I then relocated to Dorset and joined Southill Vets in September 2006, fulfilling the same role at our Milborne Port branch.

I live in a tiny old stone cottage with a huge garden, which is surrounded by countryside. I now share this with two adorable Tonkinese cats called Kuma and Otto and a Saluki dog called Dhala.”

In my spare time I enjoy the countryside and coastal walks, picnics, growing fruit and vegetables, cooking, baking, and looking after my animals. I would love some Indian Runner ducks, but sadly, Mr Fox is never that far away where I live at the moment.”
