I am a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in London. I graduated in 1983 and started work in Wincanton for Mr Hudson and Mr Giles. I was emplyed as a full time vet covering both farm animal and small animal work. Initially my workload was predominately farm work and I have gained much experience in dairy and beef farming enterprises. My small animal skills have also developed with the practice and I now spend approximately half my time on farm work and half on small animal work. I am a competent clinician and surgeon willing to tackle most soft tissue problems and some orthopaedic techniques. I have an interest in conditions that affect eyes in all species and accept patients from my colleagues in the practice. I have stayed in the practice for my whole veterinary career. I was offered a junior partnership in 1988 and then full partnership in 1991. I am now in partnership with Bob and Richard and due to my age have the title of senior partner. I am married with three children. My eldest two are now themselves university graduates while my youngest is taking his GCSE exams this year (2009). I keep a few animals at home including dogs, a cat, several sheep and two horses. In the past few years I have returned to riding horses to keep my youngest son company and you may see me out at local events competing on my own. I try to grow some of our vegetable and soft fruit needs in the garden and I have a keen interest in cooking. To contact Jeremy please call the main Southill Vets reception number 01963 33226. If Jeremy is not available, reception staff will be happy to relay your message to him. | ![]() | |||
