I have been working at Southill since 2005 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2008. I have recently taken on the role of Head nurse, although challenging at times, I enjoy working alongside the rest of the team.

I have a interest in animal physiotherapy and spend most of my spare time looking after my pets - 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 pypmy goats!

Lisa is currently on maternity leave, but will be back with us soon.

I have been at Southill Vets since May 2003 and have trained and qualified as a veterinary nurse since starting here. I have two cats that I took home from the surgery, Bilbo and Keira, and I am not allowed any more !!  I have a keen interest at work in laboratory diagnostics and I like to give worming tablets to cats and de-matting them.

Outside of work I have recently been married and also have a beautiful daughter.  Palaeontology is my passion and I am always collecting fossils and watching dinosaur programmes!

Before joining Southill Vets in Wincanton, I trained in a local Veterinary Practice for 3.5 years as a student Veterinary Nurse and qualified shortly after starting a full time position at Southill in 2003. Since then I have qualified as an assessor for student Veterinary Nurses and also gained a certificate in Pharmacy Management.
On a personal level I am married and have 2 young girls and as a result I am now working part time at our Gillingham and Wincanton branches. At home I currently have a dog called Henry, a guinea pig named Pipand a kitten called Parsnip . I enjoy most sports and go to aerobics classes as often as I can because I also enjoy food!

From Sussex, I moved to Dorset and joined Southill Veterinary Group at the start of 2014.  I qualified as a veterinary nurse in the summer of 2013 and I am really enjoying my career so far.

I am an expert animal holder and am kept busy at home by my black and white 7kg Maine Coon called Buddy!

Before joining Southill I worked in a small animal practice in the centre of Cheltenham, as a veterinary nursing assistant for 2 years and lived in a beautiful cottage in the Forest of Dean.  I then relocated to Dorset and jouned Southill in September 2006, fulfilling the same role at our Milborne Port branch.  I live in a tiny old stone cottage, with a huge garden which is surrounded by countryside, I now share this with two adorable Siamese kittens propranolol medicament.  In my spare time I enjoy countryside and coastal walking, picnics, growing fruit and veggies, cooking/baking and looking after my animals.  I would love some Indian runner ducks, but sadly Mr Fox is never that far away where I live at the moment.

I joined Southill in August 2014 as a student veterinary nurse,  and wil be starting my academic training in September 2015.  I was over the moon about  recieving the offer to work here, to fulill my childhood career dreams.  I am looking forward to completing my training with the team here at Southill and I will hopefuly qualify as a veterinary nurse in 2017.

Outside of work, I keep myself busy with my own 3 cats and 2 guinea pigs, which will one day, no doubt expand in to a house full of various animals !

I started working at Southill in the summer of 2016, firstly doing voluntary work three days a week, and was then offered a full time position.  I am now training to become an animal nursing assistant, which I am enjoying and hopefully, I will then progress onto becoming a student veterinary nurse and in the future a qualified veterinary nurse.  At home, I have a Labrador called Jaz, a Cocker Spaniel called Jemima and a horse called Dolly.  In my free time, I love riding, walking my dogs and taking my horse to fun rides.

I started at Southill Vets in May 2014 doing work experience and then ventured onto reception.  I am now fulfilling my life long dream, and training to be a student veterinary nurse.  I look forward to completing my training, hopefully in 2018.

When I am not at work, I enjoy taking care of my three dogs, one being a white German Shepherd callled Mylo, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Ozzy and a crazy Cocker Spaniel called Chester. I also own a tortoise called Shelby and a phsyco cat !
